North Carolina transfer forward Ven-Allen Lubin commits to NC State

North Carolina transfer forward Ven-Allen Lubin has committed to NC State and head coach Will Wade, he told On3.

The 6-foot-8 junior from Orlando averaged 8.7 points and 5.5 rebounds per game with the Tar Heels.

Lubin played his freshman season at Notre Dame and his sophomore season at Vanderbilt. He will now complete his college career in Raleigh with the Wolfpack.

Lubin is a former four-star recruit and was ranked as the No. 69 overall recruit in the 2022 class, according to the On3 Industry Ranking.

Lubin is the seventh transfer portal pickup. He joins PF Jerry Deng from Florida State, SF Terrance Arceneaux from Houston, PF Colt Langdon from Butler, PG Tre Holloman from Michigan State, SG’s Quadir Copeland and Alyn Breed from McNeese.
