Prairie View A&M offensive tackle William Boone has signed with Bill Belichick and North Carolina, per his agent Austin Pfenninger of JL Sports.

The 6-foot-7, 340-pound Boone also strongly considered opportunities from Colorado and San Diego State. Deion Sanders and the Buffaloes were the runner-up.

“Loved both spots,” Pfenniger said. “He’s from Atlanta so it’s a chance to be closer to home and easier for his family to see him.

“Also couldn’t pass up the chance to learn from Coach Belichick and the NFL-style approach the staff has. They seemed to lay out a clear path of everything he needs to do to get to the next level.”

Boone did not give up a sack in the 2024 campaign and has two seasons of eligibility remaining.

A look at what Belichick and North Carolina have done in the Transfer Portal this 2025 cycle here.
