Notre Dame expected to hire Alabama staffer, former NFL linebacker Max Bullough
Notre Dame is expected to add Alabama analyst and former NFL linebacker Max Bullough to its staff, sources tell On3.
Bullough is expected to be Notre Dame’s replacement for James Laurinaitis, who was a graduate assistant and assistant linebackers coach for the Fighting Irish last season. Laurinaitis, a former Ohio State and NFL linebacker, recently left the Fighting Irish for a graduate assistant assistant position at Ohio State.

Bullough was a three-time All-Big Ten linebacker and two-time team captain at Michigan State. He then spent three seasons in the NFL with the Houston Texans, posting 30 tackles in 2015 and 25 in 2016.
Bullough worked at Alabama as a graduate assistant and assistant linebackers coach the last three seasons after one year as a graduate assistant at Cincinnati.
