Notre Dame appeared to have a clear first down on Saturday night against Texas A&M, but officials ruled otherwise. Fighting Irish quarterback Riley Leonard attempted a quarterback rush on fourth-and-2 and appeared to pass the first down marker on television.

However, officials ruled that Leonard was a yard short and the Fighting Irish turned the ball over on downs. Many fans took exception to the ruling on social media, where several videos and pictures emerged of Leonard clearly passing the yellow line. You can make the choice for yourself below.

Leonard clearly appeared to be past the first down marker. Fortunately, the Notre Dame defense was able to force Texas A&M to punt on the ensuing possession and scored on the next drive.
