Interestingly enough, the Big Ten and SEC are the only two conferences who will have crews in more than one New Year’s Six bowl game. In addition to the Fiesta Bowl, SEC officials will also call the Cotton Bowl. Big Ten officials will oversee both the Sugar Bowl and Orange Bowl.
The Orange Bowl will be the first of the New Year’s Six bowls to kick off, as it is scheduled to take place at 8 p.m. ET on Dec. 30. After that, the College Football semifinal games will take place the next day on New Year’s Eve.
