ESPN College GameDay heading to Ann Arbor for Ohio State vs. Michigan in Week 13
ESPN College GameDay has revealed where it will be for rivalry weekend. It’s no surprise that the show is heading to Ann Arbor for the huge matchup between Michigan and Ohio State.
During Saturday’s College GameDay broadcast from James Madison, host Rece Davis shared that the GameDay crew will be at the Ohio State-Michigan game next week.
There’s a ton of hype surrounding the matchup, for multiple reasons. The biggest is that the winner of the game will all but lock up a spot in the College Football Playoff. The winner will still have a Big Ten Championship game to navigate, likely against Iowa, but even with a loss in the Big Ten title game, the winner of Ohio State and Michigan will still have a strong case for the playoff. Either team will be heavily favored in the Big Ten title game.
There’s also the Michigan sign-stealing allegations that factor into the build up for the game.
Ohio State reportedly knew about Michigan’s sign-stealing scheme and was unhappy with it. There is also talk that Michigan believes Ohio State tipped off the NCAA about the sign-stealing allegations, although no evidence has been presented that says the Buckeyes actually did so.
Either way, there is a ton of excitement heading into next week’s huge rivalry matchup. College GameDay being in town only adds to that.

Sherrone Moore explains how Michigan is operating on gameday without Jim Harbaugh
Michigan will be without Jim Harbaugh on the sidelines next weekend against Ohio State for the sixth time this season.
Harbaugh missed the first three games of the year as the Wolverines earned wins against East Carolina, UNLV and Bowling Green, as well as last Saturday’s game against Penn State. He will also not be on the sideline this Saturday against Maryland or next weekend against Ohio State after being suspended by the Big Ten earlier this month.
Michigan offensive coordinator Sherron Moore, who serves as the acting head coach when Jim Harbaugh is not on the sideline, joined ESPN College GameDay Saturday morning and explained how the coaching staff operates without Harbaugh on game days. Harbaugh is allowed to coach all week leading up to the game but can’t attend games during his current suspension.
“The big thing is that it’s a big, collaborative effort. When the defense is up, we allow [defensive coordinator] Jesse [Minter] and their staff to really take full control of what’s going on,” Moore said. “And if there’s any big decisions to be made, I’ll make them.”
