Ohio State to name Marshall GM Marc Votteler as new director of player personnel

Ohio State is set to hire current Marshall general manager Marc Votteler as its director of player personnel, according to On3’s Matt Zenitz.

Voetteler was hired by Marshall for the role in January 2022. He was formerly the assistant director of player personnel at Alabama, UCF and Tennessee.

+ Previously worked with Marshall coach Charles Huff at Alabama. Was an assistant director of player personnel for the Crimson Tide the past three years, assisting with classes that ranked second or better nationally each of those years
+ Joined Alabama after stops at UCF (2018) and Tennessee (2014-18)
+ Became an assistant director of player personnel for the Vols after starting off as an assistant director of video
