Danny Stutsman arrives at Red River Rivalry wearing gold 'Horns Down' necklace
Oklahoma star linebacker Danny Stutsman made t-shirts to talk a little trash after last year’s win over Texas. Stutsman is starting the smack talk early for the Cotton Bowl this year.
The senior arrived for the Cotton Bowl with a gold Horns Down necklace on.

After last year’s Oklahoma win over Texas, Danny Stutsman made t-shirts that read: “OKLAHOMA ONLY FEARS GOD. TEXAS FEARS OKLAHOMA.”
If anyone was curious about whether or not he was going to avoid adding even more fuel to the fire ahead of the Cotton Bowl, he made it clear that he isn’t worried about that.
Earlier this week, Texas junior defensive back Michael Taaffe commented on the shirts in the lead-up to the game.
“It’s a new season,” Taaffe said, according to Campbell Choate of TSTV Sports. “We’ve got a whole new team. I’m not too focused on what they did last year, what we did last year. But I do remember everything.”

The T-shirts weren’t the only trolling that Stutsman did of Texas, either. He also had a “Horns Down” “tattoo” placed on his body, which he showed off on the Pat McAfee Show in the run-in to the game.
After the fact, Stutsman was asked if it was real and if he still had the tattoo.
“I mean, I’ve kind of kept it up. You know, it might be real or it might be fake,” Stutsman said as he pulled up the right leg of his shorts to show off evidence of the anti-Texas symbol, which was still there. “But I think you guys can see it right there.”
McAfee was impressed and commented that “it looks pretty real.” Stutsman then added: “It could be a temporary tattoo. I mean, I’ll kind of leave it up. Maybe in 20 or 25 years we can go back to this discussion. But Texas fans, it is whatever they want to believe.”
The 2024 Cotton Bowl already had plenty of juice. This only adds to it.
