LOOK: Oklahoma 2022 commit Raleek Brown spotted wearing USC gear
Santa Ana (Calif.) Mater Dei running back Raleek Brown has been committed to Oklahoma since February, but the No. 138 player in the 2022 On300 had a curious accessory on his arm Friday night.
Brown, ahead of Mater Dei’s massive showdown with St. John Bosco, was spotted wearing a sleeve with USC’s logo on it.
Whether that actually means anything about Brown’s commitment to the Sooners remains to be seen, but the Trojans likely won’t give up on one of the state’s top 2022 prospects until he’s signed, sealed and delivered to Norman. Brown took an official and unofficial visit to USC over the summer, and the Trojans want to use him all over the field.
The Sooners have struggled to hold onto receivers in the 2022 class, losing commits Jordan Hudson (SMU), Talyn Shettron (Oklahoma State) and Luther Burden (uncommitted). All three are ranked in the 2022 On300, with Hudson topping the group at No. 29 overall.

Oklahoma has also added a commitment from Littleton (Colo.) Valor Christian four-star running back Gavin Sawchuk. Brown, though, told On3’s WeAreSC that another running back in the class doesn’t worry him.
“I really don’t look at recruiting,” Raleek Brown said of who else might be in his class. “You’re going to have to compete no matter what. It is what it is.”
