According to On3’s Joe Tipton, Oklahoma State forward Pat Suemnick has entered the NCAA transfer portal. This was Suemnick’s first season in Stillwater, opting to explore other options moving forward. A tough loss for head coach Steve Lutz, especially considering the experience Suemnick possesses.

Robert Morris was where his playing career began, going back to the 2020-2021 season. A year with the Colonials saw him quickly move to the JUCO ranks. It’s the reason Suemnick still has any eligibility remaining.

West Virginia is where Suemnick landed coming out of JUCO, spending two seasons with the Big 12 program. Oklahoma State was happy to be bringing in someone with experience inside the conference for Lutz’s first season in charge.

“You can never have enough size, experience and versatility,” Lutz said when Suemnick signed. “Pat brings all of these things to the table, and more. He’s a strong, skilled player and an intense competitor who will do whatever it takes to help his team be successful. Off the court, he’s a great guy from a great family. We’re happy he’s a Cowboy.”

Suemnick wound up playing in 34 games for Oklahoma State, starting one of them. He averaged 2.9 points and 1.9 rebounds per game. Taking just over two shots per game, Suemnick made field goals at a 52% rate.

There might be some hope for better stats moving forward. But at the very least, somebody will be getting a seasoned veteran in Suemnick.

Oklahoma State lands commitment from LSU guard out of transfer portal

LSU guard Vyctorious Miller has committed to Oklahoma State out of the NCAA transfer portal, per On3.com’s Pete Nakos. He did so after spending one season with the Tigers.

During his freshman season in 2024-25, Miller averaged 8.9 points and 2.4 rebounds per game. He also chipped in 1.2 assists per outing and had the occasional block and steal.

All that came while starting five games in his 25 appearances. Miller averaged 19.0 minutes per game.

At 6 foot 5, 185 pounds, Vyctorious Miller has good size and length. He can be a valuable addition for the Cowboys on the perimeter, and it certainly doesn’t appear that he’s come close to reaching his ceiling yet.

For one, Miller can continue to improve his shooting stroke. He shot 31.8% from 3-point range on 88 attempts this season, while he shot 72.9% from the free-throw line.
