Oklahoma State lands commitment from 4-star safety Jason Bradford

Temple (Texas) four-star safety Jason Bradford has committed to Oklahoma State, he announced on Monday.
He chose the Cowboys over the likes of Arizona State, Houston, Texas Tech, Kansas and Vanderbilt.
Bradford is the No. 351 overall prospect and No. 34 safety in the 2026 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He’s also the No. 46 player in Texas.
“First off I want to thank my Lord and Savior. I wouldn’t be here without him. I just want to thank all the coaches that recruited me from high school from this point. I was very grateful and very blessed with all my situations and circumstances that came from this point and I will never take anything for granted where I’m from you can’t,” Bradford wrote on X announcing his decision. “With that Being said I will be committing to Oklahoma State University. Go Cowboys.”
The 6-foot-2, 185-pounder becomes the top-ranked commit for head coach Mike Gundy and OSU this cycle. The Cowboys were his first Power Four offer, got him to Stillwater for an official visit over the weekend and have now landed the big-time pledge.
As a junior for Temple, Bradford tallied 37 total tackles, nine pass deflections and four interceptions, per MaxPreps.
More on Oklahoma State Recruiting
Following the addition of Bradford, Oklahoma State now has nine commits in its class, which ranks No. 33 in the nation, according to the On3 Industry Team Recruiting Rankings.
Bradford is one of two blue-chippers in the class alongside Jenks (Okla.) four-star running back Kaydin Jones, the No. 30 RB in the nation who pledged last month. The formidable pair sit atop a class that could make a push for top-25 status this summer.

“I chose Oklahoma State because I have a chance to be the hometown kid everyone loves,” Jones told On3. “I have a chance to show kids you don’t have to go somewhere far or big to be a star.”
There are now four Lone Star State prospects committed to OSU, with Bradford joining Pearland three-star EDGE Jaylen Stewart, Hewitt La Vega three-star wide receiver Jabarie Thornton and Richmond Fort Bend Travis cornerback Josiah Vilmael.
Other commits in the class include: Bixby (Okla.) three-star linebacker Trey McGlothlin, Carthage (Mo.) three-star EDGE Landon Bland, Tulsa (Okla.) Berryhill three-star offensive tackle Aiden Martin and Owasso (Okla.) three-star safety Carter Langenderfer.
The class also currently ranks No. 6 in the Big 12, checking in ahead of the likes of Texas Tech, BYU, TCU, UCF and West Virginia.
