No. 12 Oklahoma State vs. No. 9 Missouri wrestling preview, predictions
No. 12 Oklahoma State (10-2, 5-1) and No. 9 Missouri (7-2, 6-0) face off in Sunday at 3 p.m. ET in wrestling dual action. We broke down matchups, previewed the action and predicted the outcome of the match.
The Big 12 has two of its banner members in wrestling facing off in Stillwater. Both teams earned big wins Friday night. Missouri dominated Big 12 foe Oklahoma 33-3 while Oklahoma State knocked off No. 6 Michigan 24-15 at the “Bout at the Ballpark” at Globe Life Field.
But now, it’s a top 15 matchup late in the dual meet regular season. With the individual postseason fast approaching, this will be a nice tuneup for both squads.
Below are the matchups and predictions for Oklahoma State versus Missouri, featuring nine projected matchups that have ranked wrestlers.

Missouri defeats Oklahoma State 20-13
The biggest discrepancy between the two is at 125 since that’s the lone bout not between two ranked wrestlers. But we’ll predict just a decision for Surtin in a tough environment.
From there, Oklahoma State gives itself a chance with bonus points from three-time NCAA finalist in Fix. He’s gunning for the top of the podium this year and won’t slow down in this one.
But two wins in a row are coming for Missouri from Hart and Mauller, both top 10 wrestlers at their respective weight classes. However, all of these bouts should be relatively close.

Gfeller gets Oklahoma State going again with a win over Jacques, an upset on paper based on the rankings.
O’Toole, a defending national champion, is bound for bonus points here. We’ll say a major decision, but he’s so good we can’t rule out a tech fall for the Tiger.
Plott will respond for the Cowboys and get a decision. He’s already 2-0 against Mocco.
Wittlake gets another for Oklahoma State to tie up the match at 13 a piece with two weights to go. It’ll get quite tight down the stretch.
However, the Elam’s will clinch it for Missouri with back-to-back wins and keep Missouri undefeated in Big 12 duals.
