Oklahoma State's Mike Gundy, Clemson's Dabo Swinney are On3 Power Five head coaches of the week
Each week, On3 selects national head coaches of the week.
Our Power Five co-head coaches of the week for Week 10 are Oklahoma State’s Mike Gundy and Clemson’s Dabo Swinney.
Gundy led the No. 22 Cowboys to a 27-24 win over No. 9 Oklahoma in the final Bedlam matchup. It was Oklahoma State’s second straight home win over the Sooners and also the Cowboys’ fifth straight victory this year following a 2-2 start to the season.
“It’s a big deal. I mean, this is the last Bedlam,” Gundy said after the game. “All the Oklahoma State people have put up with a lot of crap for 100 years. They’ve had their butt kicked a bunch. Now they’re going to walk around and say we won the last game.”
As for Swinney, he helped Clemson bounce back from a two-game losing streak and responded to critics like Tyler from Spartanburg with a 31-23 victory over No. 15 Notre Dame.
