Oklahoma vs. South Carolina: Friday injury report revealed
Oklahoma and South Carolina will both look to bounce back from tough losses last weekend when they square off in Norman this Saturday. Two teams both in pursuit of a second SEC win this season in an attempt to generate momentum heading into the second half of the season.
Team health and depth are both major factors once the halfway point of the season is reached. And there’s no doubt that both teams have dealt with their fair share of injuries this season, playing a major role in Saturday’s game.
The Sooners have been absolutely decimated at the wide receiver position, which has directly resulted in them ranking last in the SEC in passing through six games. While the Gamecocks have do deal with their starting quarterback missing time and several other key contributors throughout the season.
That being said, the Sooners and Gamecocks being at full strength will be crucial in particular matchups this weekend. Check out the status of both teams’ banged-up players on the official Friday injury report below.

South Carolina will be missing a notable wide receiver as well with Coastal Carolina transfer Jared Brown missing his second game of the season with a lingering lower-body injury.
“We’re in pretty good shape compared to where we were last week,” head coach Shane Beamer said. “Jared Brown and DeAndre Jules, they’ll still be out this week, they haven’t made it back. Kelvin Hunter and Jalewis Solomon are still out but other than that, everybody’s good.
