Ole Miss trolls Alabama with 'The Office' reference in reverse rat poison graphic
As Micahel Scott would say, “Respect. R-E-S-P-SVEE-T. Find out what it means to me.” That’s what Ole Miss is doing heading into Saturday’s game against Alabama in Tuscaloosa. We all know the respect Lane Kiffin has for Nick Saban but now, the Rebels social media decided to get in on the fun as well.
Ole Miss used ‘The Office’ to show the type of relationship they have with each other. Alabama was Ed Truck, the former regional manager of Dunder Mifflin. He is seen wearing the famous hat of Paul “Bear” Bryant and has an Alabama pin on his suit.
Shaking his hand is a young salesman by the name of Micahel Scott. His Ole Miss button-down and bow tie has him ready for game day on the Grove — or in this case, in Tuscaloosa to face off against Alabama.
You can check out the graphic here, titled “#BamaRespectWeek.”
While the handshake meme is the handshake meme, Michael was never a fan of Ed Truck. “Horrible” and “hated fun” were how Truck was described following his death in the show. Michael vowed to be the complete opposite, hoping to have his employees enjoy coming to work.
We will find out if Kiffin enjoyed coming into work on Saturday, looking to finally get a win against Alabama. Since taking over at Ole Miss, he has not fared too well against Saban. His best chance might be in front of him at Bryant-Denny Stadium at 2:30 p.m.

Micahel Scott takes over for Ed Truck. Lane Kiffin to take over for Nick Saban?
Well, well, well. How the turntables.
Ole Miss may have actually played themselves a bit with this graphic. In the show, Micahel winds up replacing Ed as the Dunder Mifflin regional manager. If we’re applying it to the situations at Alabama and Ole Miss, wouldn’t this theoretically mean Kiffin replaces Saban in the long term?
Fool us once, strike one. Fool us twice, strike three.
While Saban has reiterated his desire to stay as the Alabama head coach for the foreseeable future, there has been plenty of talk about who will eventually replace him. Kiffin has been at the forefront due to his ties with the program.
Kiffin attended the Nick Saban School of Coaching. It’s like learning from Mr. Miyagi and Yoda rolled into one. Ole Miss will specifically ask Kiffin to not cheat on them but you have to imagine he would love to take over for Saban when the time comes.
