Ole Miss head coach Lane Kiffin was back on the recruiting trail Thursday as he made a trip to Brandon (Miss.) Hartfield Academy to see elite 2026 safety Bralan Womack.

Womack has visited the in-state school more than any other, per the On3 Visit Center — including multiple trips to Oxford last spring.

Earlier this month, Womack dropped his top four schools, which did not include the Rebels. Instead, Alabama, Ohio State, Tennessee and Texas A&M had been catching his eye. Then, he told On3’s Steve Wiltfong that it was “actually two” — the Aggies and Buckeyes.

Thus far, Ole Miss has two prospects committed to its 2026 recruiting class: Pensacola (Fla.) Pine Forest three-star athlete Zion Legree and Sacramento (Calif.) Folsom three-star wide receiver Jameson Powell.

Womack participated in the Navy All-American Bowl earlier this month, and National Scout Cody Bellaire had this to say about the rising senior.

Bralan Womack has a college-ready build as a 2026 prospect and moves around very well,” Bellaire said. “His ability to close to the ball carrier and drop his hips in order to change direction was solid. We’re excited to see him in coverage throughout the week.”

The 6-foot-0.5, 200-pound Womack is the nation’s No. 32 overall prospect in the 2026 cycle according to the On3 Industry Ranking — a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is the No. 3 safety in the class and the No. 2 recruit from the Magnolia State.
