The Crimson Tide have been heavily pushing for Mississippi’s top recruit for months now.
Perkins is the No. 63 overall recruit and No. 4 linebacker in the 2023 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
He currently has an On3 NIL Valuation of $152k. The On3 NIL Valuation is an index that looks to set the standard market value for both high school and college-level athletes. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
Suntarine Perkins Scouting Summary
Dynamic two-way playmaker at the high school level with difference-making potential as a linebacker long-term. Size is unverified, but listed around 6-foot-3, 210 pounds. Has a high-cut build and looks to have plus length. Works as a running back and linebacker for his high school, which plays in a smaller classification in Mississippi. An athletic mover on defense with sideline to sideline range. Erases outside plays with his play speed and length. Shows considerable pop as a striker. Drives through ball carriers. Looks to be a natural operating in space, which is aided by his background as a safety.
