Ole Miss, Missouri face off in round one of 2022 SEC tournament

The Tigers and Rebels meet in Tampa on Wednesday to tip off the 2022 SEC tournament. Both teams struggled this season with neither posting more than five wins in conference play. The winner moves on to play on Thursday versus No. 5-seed LSU.

Despite coming into the neutral site game as the favorites, the Ole Miss Rebels dropped both games versus Missouri during the season. They lost 78-53 in mid-January and again, 74-68, in mid-February. Mississippi takes a four-game losing streak into the tournament while Mizzou beat Georgia by 10 to end the regular season after a six-game losing streak.
