Ole Miss' Sean Pedulla hits game-winning three-pointer after Arkansas avoids questionable no-call late

With seconds left in their quarterfinal against Arkansas in the SEC Tournament, Ole Miss looked as though they were about to be eliminated. Instead, it ended up going the Rebels’ way from a game-winning shot by Sean Pedulla.
Pedulla got the ball off of a pair of missed free throws by Trevon Brazile after a questionable call late on a rebound. He then drove down the court and hit a three with a second left to win it for Ole Miss and advance into the semifinals of the tournament to face off with No. 1 Auburn on Friday.
This second-round game was very contested between No. 8 Ole Miss and No. 9 Arkansas with several lead changes, specifically throughout the second half. The Rebels had as much as a 15-point lead in the first half but the Razorbacks would come back to lead themselves by as much as eight in the second.
However, a late foul on Malik Dia against Brazile with seven seconds left in a tie game seemed like it was about to be the difference. Brazile, though, went to the line and missed both. That allowed the final shot to Ole Miss with Pedulla pulling up on the left wing and making it with just a moment to go.

Pedulla, with that being his lone three-pointer, would finish as one of five players for the Rebels who scored in double-figures. Malik Dia (19 points (7-8 FG), eight rebounds) led the way to go with Jaylen Murray (17 points, five assists), Matthew Murrell (12), Pedulla (11), and Davon Barnes (11). The ‘Hogs had five of their own as well with Brazile (15) along with Jonas Aidoo (17), Billy Richmond (15), Karter Knox (14), and Johnell Davis (10).
This could’ve very well gone the other way in favor of Arkansas. March is just full of these moments and, this morning, this one went for the Rebels in advancing to the semis in the SEC Tournament.
