More on Alabama, Ole Miss
Alabama wrapped up its non-conference schedule with a victory over Jackson State before winning its conference opener against Mississippi State on the road Dec. 28. After a break for the new year, the Crimson Tide bring an 11-2 overall record into its second SEC matchup of the season against an Ole Miss team that looked impressive in its conference opener.
The Rebels welcomed Tennessee to The Pavilion Dec. 28 and gave the Volunteers all they could handle before falling 63-59. Ole Miss took a 34-28 lead into halftime, but Tennessee made impressive halftime adjustments on defense to flip the script and come away with a victory.
It was an exciting way to tip off SEC action, and Ole Miss will try to build on that momentum Tuesday night and try to avoid a three-game losing streak. Alabama, meanwhile, is looking to improve to 12-2 on the season with losses only coming to UConn and Gonzaga.
