On3 has updated its recruiting ranking for the 2024 class after the completion of dozens of offseason camps, as well as events like the Elite 11 Finals and Overtime 7v7 Finals. Washington (D.C.) Friendship Collegiate Academy five-star EDGE Dylan Stewart is the No. 10 overall prospect in the 2024 On300.
The latest edition of On3’s 2024 rankings features 15 five-star players, up from 11 in the previous update in April. Of those 15 prospects, seven are already committed to college programs, with five-star wide receiver Cam Coleman and defensive lineman Justin Scott the latest to come off the board to Texas A&M and Ohio State, respectively.
The 6-foot-5, 250-pound Stewart remains uncommitted and is coming off a June where he took official visits to Georgia, Miami, Ohio State and South Carolina.
The On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine (RPM) currently favors Ohio State for Stewart at 51.6%. South Carolina sits behind the Buckeyes at 31.2%.

“Dylan Stewart has gone back and forth on when he would like to commit,” On3’s Chad Simmons wrote toward the end of June. “As of now, the five-star EDGE is looking to make a summer decision. He released a top-five last week, but I continue to hear buzz around three schools. Those are Georgia, Ohio State and South Carolina. My prediction is on the Buckeyes, and I have had it there since early spring, and there is still a level of confidence from the Big Ten program.
“…South Carolina’s confidence is growing too, after a successful official visit last weekend. Georgia is a school you cannot sleep on. There is consistent communication there too. I hear a little more about the Buckeyes and the Gamecocks. There is still some work to be done here I and told as Stewart has not made his decision yet.”
Dylan Stewart Scouting Summary
On3 Director of Scouting and Rankings Charles Power writes this about him as a prospect:
“Disruptive pass rusher who looks to be one of the top defensive prospects in the 2024 cycle. Shows a quick first step. Fires off the ball with the ability to quickly redirect with lateral agility. Dips and bends around the edge, showing some encouraging flexibility and curvilinear movement.
“…Also plays low and gets underneath the pads of opposing offensive linemen. Has good size and stature checking in at 6-foot-5, 230 pounds with an 81-inch wingspan prior to his senior season. Will need to continue progressing from a strength and technical perspective as he continues through his high school career.”
