Santa Ana (Calif.) Mater Dei five-star running back Nathaniel Frazier named his top eight schools in early July and said that he wanted to commit before his senior season. That list of eight has been cut down to a final four and Frazier now has decision date.

Frazier will make his college decision on August 6 choosing between Alabama, Georgia, Oregon and Texas A&M. His decision will be made live on the On3 YouTube Channel at 3 p.m. ET.

According to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine (RPM), Georgia currently has the best odds of landing Frazier’s pledge. The Bulldogs’ odds currently sit 91.8% and he’s set to take his official visit to Athens on Sept. 15.

“No, I’m not worried about that. At all. Because I don’t run from competition at all,” Frazier told Chad Simmons regarding Georgia’s running back situation. “I’m a competitor and I want to be in a running back room where every day is hard and I — not to curse — have to work my ass off. So that’s not a problem to me.”

Oregon, Alabama and Texas A&M sit far behind in the RPM but both schools hosted him for officials in June. He was in Oregon June 16 and traveled to Alabama a week later.

Texas A&M has only hosted Frazier once but that lone visit did enough for the Aggies to remain high on his list.

Frazier breaks down top 4 schools

Frazier had this to say about his top four schools, which were a part of his final eight earlier this month.

Alabama: “There’s not really too much you can say about ‘Bama. When you talk about ‘Bama, and especially about the things about my position, you know that if you start one year at the University of Alabama, you’re going to be a high prospect on every NFL team’s draft board.”

Georgia: “I don’t run from competition at all. I’m a competitor and I want to be in a running back room where every day is hard and I — not to curse — have to work my ass off. So that’s not a problem to me.”

Oregon: “Oregon is getting a good recruiting class and Coach Lanning is a great coach. He is building something up there. The players like him, he is recruiting well and Oregon is going to win a lot of games.”

Texas A&M: “To me, I feel like Texas A&M is on the rise. I feel like they’re really on the rise with their program. I like coach Jimbo Fisher and coach Marquel Blackwell.”
