The On3 Impact 300 ranks the best players in college football entering the 2022 season, with a full release scheduled over the coming weeks. To kick off the inaugural list – which also factors in the calculation of On3’s NIL Valuation – the top 10 returning players have been revealed as the season continues to move closer.

With all of On3’s 2022 top 50 transfer portal prospects now off the board, the landscape of college football is now coming together. Alabama brings back the dynamic duo of Will Anderson and Bryce Young, Ohio State returns a dynamic offensive combo and USC adds a pair of stars under a new head coach. In addition, defending national champions Georgia return two big-time players.

Although Young returns to campus as the defending Heisman Trophy winner, it is a new contender who did not make the finalist list in 2021 who tops the On3 Impact 300 entering 2022.

On3 Impact 300’s Top 10

1. Will Anderson, LB (Alabama)

In 2021, Anderson showcased his versatility with 17.5 sacks and 101 tackles in 15 games. His big production has risen his NIL value to $1.3 million and made him a prime target in the 2023 NFL Draft.

2. Bryce Young, QB (Alabama)

Young took over the starting job at Alabama last year and won the Heisman Trophy after posting 4,872 passing yards with 47 touchdowns and seven interceptions. His NIL value now sits at $3.1 million, good enough for No. 2 in the NIL 100.

3. CJ Stroud, QB (Ohio State)

Stroud threw for 4,435 yards with 44 touchdowns and six interceptions in his first year as a starter. As one of the candidates to go No. 1 overall next April, his NIL value now sits at $2.4 million.

4. Caleb Williams, QB (USC)

Williams took over the starting job at Oklahoma as a freshman, but followed his head coach Lincoln Riley to USC after entering the transfer portal. He holds an NIL value of $2.4 million and is the highest-ranked player from the 2021 recruiting class.

5. Jaxon Smith-Njigba, WR (Ohio State)

Smith-Njigba was the third wide receiver for Ohio State last season, but received high praise from his teammates and put up big numbers. His 1,606 yards and nine touchdowns brought his NIL value to 1.4 million.

6. Jalen Carter, DL (Georgia)

Carter is the last remaining piece of Georgia’s national championship winning defensive line, with the other three all going in the first round of the 2022 NFL Draft. Now projected to do the same a year later, Carter brings an NIL value of $803,000.

7. Brock Bowers, TE (Georgia)

Bowers showed as a freshman that he is not a typical tight end. His 13 touchdown receptions drew big comparisons and rose his NIL value to $895,000.

8. Peter Skoronski, OL (Northwestern)

Skoronski is the top-ranked offensive lineman entering the 2022 season and brings an NIL value of $763,000. He is a versatile player with experience inside at center and now works at left tackle.

9. Jordan Addison, WR (USC)

Addison’s transfer saga after winning the Biletnikoff award became a major headline. His NIL value now sits at $887,000 as he teams up with fellow DMV native Caleb Williams out west.

10. Bijan Robinson, RB (Texas)

Robinson returns as the top running back in the country once again, looking to build on his first 1,000-yard season which featured 15 total touchdowns. He has also become a hot NIL commodity with a value of $1.2 million.
