Here is more on eight players that On3 is highest on:
4-star DL Benedict Umeh
On300 ranking: No. 24
Rivals: No. 139
247Sports: N/R
ESPN: N/R
Industry Comparison
On3 RPM: Bowling Green 31.9%, Penn State 2.5%, Pittsburgh 2.2%, Michigan 1.8%
“Benedict Umeh is someone who really came on the radar nationally this past fall. He’s originally from Toronto and came to the United States, to Avon Old Farms (Conn.) to play football full-time. He’s a multi-sport athlete with a basketball background. He also wrestles at Avon Old Farms. Just going through the defensive linemen, his natural traits in terms of the size, athleticism, the length, the frame really stood out in that group. He has a prototypical frame and when you watch the flashes he had as a junior, it’s really, really encouraging. He’s a guy who’s really just scratching the surface of his potential. We are projecting upside this early on. We thought his upside was among the highest, if not in the top two or three highest, of the defensive linemen.” — Charles Power, On3 Director of Scouting and Rankings
4-star WR Bryant Wesco
On300 ranking: No. 25
247Sports: No. 101
Rivals: No. 165
ESPN: No. 192
Industry Comparison
On3 RPM: TCU 94.4%, Oklahoma 2.8%, Miami 1.3%
“Bryant Wesco is probably the biggest outlier among the wide receiver group or certainly one of them. First off, he had a huge junior season. He plays in a triple-option offense in high school and they modified their scheme to get him the ball more just because of how talented he is… When you look at the overall skill level that he showed this year with his route-running ability, he’s got good height and length, around 6-foot-2. So he can win with speed, he can high-point and win in contested situations. He’s strong after the catch. He’s shown very promising route-running ability as well. He played in some big games as a junior too against good competition, so he’s one who just was really a revelation as a junior. He has a pretty complete overall skillset and body of work at this pretty early point.” — Charles Power, On3 Director of Scouting and Rankings
4-star DL Omar White – Colorado commit
On300 ranking: No. 33
ESPN: No. 88
247Sports: N/R
Rivals: N/R
Industry Comparison
“Omar White really transformed his body, trimmed down significantly from his sophomore year. He went from around 320, 330 pounds to under 300 pounds. You can see the benefit of that with his movements. He’s a little more compact physically, but has really good length. I believe his wingspan is around 6-foot-8, 6-foot-9 at 6-foot-2. He’s got really long arms and is also quick. He transferred to Valdosta (Ga.) as a junior and was very productive. He had well over 20 tackles-for-loss as a junior, so just how active he was, still being able to make plays behind the line of scrimmage impressed us. You look at the defensive linemen in the top 50, the top 100 and he was probably the most productive of them all.” — Charles Power, On3 Director of Scouting and Rankings
4-star QB Air Noland
On300 ranking: No. 45
247Sports: No. 117
Rivals: No. 232
ESPN: N/R
Industry Comparison
On3 RPM: Alabama 17.0%, Ole Miss 14.8%, Wake Forest 12.7%, Miami 10.6%
“I think Air Noland had the best junior season of any quarterback nationally. When you look at what he did at Fairburn (Ga.) Langston Hughes, he led his team to a 15-0, state championship season. I believe they set the record for most points scored by an offense in Georgia high school football history. He was just throwing the ball all over the field and he finished with 4,500 yards, 55 touchdowns. What we saw from Air Noland was just a really encouraging feel for the passing game. He picked apart every team they played. He throws with great touch and anticipation, strong arm. The game moves very slow for him, especially relative to a lot of these other quarterbacks. Just watching actual game footage, he was very accurate, making sound decisions. He just looked really natural in dealing with a live game situation.” — Charles Power, On3 Director of Scouting and Rankings

4-star OT Fox Crader – Oregon commit
On300 ranking: No. 72
247Sports: N/R
Rivals: N/R
ESPN: N/R
Industry Comparison
“We really like Fox Crader‘s overall athleticism and his developmental upside. He plays on both sides of the ball in high school, but projects as an offensive lineman. He’s got a big frame and has a lot of room to continue adding weight. I think he is nowhere near his ultimate size. Over the next year, he’ll continue to get bigger, stronger and then once he gets in a strength program in college, you will really see things take off for him. We just like the movement skills, the overall athleticism. He’s a basketball player, so he just sticks out from an upside and room for development perspective.” — Charles Power, On3 Director of Scouting and Rankings
4-star RB Chauncey Bowens – Florida commit
On300 ranking: No. 104
ESPN: No. 191
Rivals: No. 218
247Sports: N/R
Industry Comparison
“Chauncey Bowens is just a big, violent runner. You don’t have to project a lot with him in terms of physical growth. He’s around 225 pounds right now, but for a back that size, the play speed and burst is very encouraging. It’s what he showed as a junior. He’s just a load to tackle. He runs through arm tackles to the second level. He’s really good on contact, physical and has the look of a downhill power back. Within this running back group, he is one of the more powerful runners that we watched.” — Charles Power, On3 Director of Scouting and Rankings
4-star ATH Mazeo Bennett – South Carolina commit
On300 ranking: No. 126
ESPN: No. 198
247Sports: No. 211
Rivals: N/R
Industry Comparison
“Mazeo Bennett had a really strong junior season while playing alongside 2023 On300 receiver Tyler Brown. They split targets at Greenville (S.C.) High School. Mazeo Bennett just has a really well-rounded skillset. He is the guy who can do everything for you. He’s a good route runner, he wins at the catch point, he can go over the middle, he’s good after the coach. One thing that impressed us as well is how much dirty work he’s willing to do. He’s just very physical, he’s an outstanding blocker. He’s a guy who I think you could just see how hard he played in really about every facet. It’s pairing that with his production. It was an impetus for his rise.” — Charles Power, On3 Director of Scouting and Rankings
4-star S Marcus Goree – Tennessee commit
On300 ranking: No. 253
247Sports: N/R
Rivals: N/R
ESPN: N/R
Industry Comparison
“Marcus Goree was one who we had ranked as an athlete, but we reevaluated him as a defensive back. We have him ranked as a safety, but he can play cornerback as well. We really liked his open-field tackling ability, very tough. He’ll stick his face in there and just does not shy away from physical contact at all. That was what really impressed us the most with him. It’s just the level of physicality, the playmaking. He’s a guy who I think will continue to get bigger and stronger, but how he was throwing his body around stuck out. He is one when you’re looking at prospects in the state of Tennessee, he was an obvious riser based off the junior video. It’s easy to see why he had so much college interest before committing to Tennessee.” — Charles Power, On3 Director of Scouting and Rankings
