On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine: Michigan increases lead for Jadyn Davis
Charlotte Providence Day School four-star quarterback Jadyn Davis has been trending towards Michigan for a while now.
The Wolverines hosted Davis on campus again this weekend for the Michigan State game. Coming out of the visit, Michigan’s chances to land Davis increased in the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine by nearly 14%, jumping from 62.5% to 76.3%.
No other team checks in with a percentage in the double digits.
RPM was released to the public in December. The On3 engineering group teamed up with Spiny.ai to create the industry’s first algorithm and machine learning-based product to predict where athletes will attend college.
It factors in machine learning, social sentiment, visits and historical trends. However, expert predictions are still a big piece of the RPM equation.
The Wolverines have been recruiting Davis hard. During the team’s bye last week, offensive coordinator Matt Weiss went to Charlotte on Friday and then made a four-hour trip to see the team play it’s game that night.

Davis told On3’s Jeremy Johnson that the gesture really made an impact.
“It meant the world, they saw us in school and then they made the four-hour trip to come see us here,” Davis said. “That means a lot. They’ve let me know that I’m the priority. They show a lot of love. I’m friends with a lot of players on the team.”
Davis is the No. 16 overall recruit and No. 3 quarterback in the 2024 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
He currently has an On3 NIL Valuation of $158k. The On3 NIL Valuation is an index that looks to set the standard market value for both high school and college-level athletes. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
