On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine: Two-team battle for Anthony Evans
Converse (Texas) Judson wide receiver Anthony Evans is set to make his commitment later this week.
On Friday, Evans will announce his decision between Georgia, Oklahoma, Penn State and Texas A&M.
The 5-foot-10, 155-pound speedster took official visits in June to see the Sooners, Bulldogs and Aggies, but the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine (RPM) shows it’s a two-team race between OU and Georgia. Currently, the Sooners have a slight lead with a 54.8 percent chance to land Evans, with the Bulldogs trailing behind at 41.5 percent.

On3 Director of Recruiting Chad Simmons placed an expert prediction in favor of the Bulldogs in late July and wrote this:
“The explosive athlete out of Judson (Texas) is a major target for Bryan McClendon and the Bulldogs. He is what Georgia wants in their slot position and there is some serious buzz behind the scenes. … Evans is a former Arkansas commitment, and over the summer, Georgia and Texas A&M have been the schools I have heard most about. Oklahoma is another one, but I continue to hear Georgia is in the best position and I like where the Bulldogs sit towards the end of July. … He is a 24-foot long jumper, he is 10.92 in the 100m, and 21.10 in the 200m.”
As a junior last season, Anthony Evans hauled in 35 passes for 491 yards and three touchdowns.
