On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine: Washington State takes commanding lead for 4-star Adrame Diongue
Washington State has been the one constant when talking with Scottsdale (AZ) AZ Compass big man Adrame Diongue. Today at 10:30 AM PST, On3’s Recruiting Prediction Machine (RPM) predicts that consistency will pay off for the Cougars.
Diongue released his top-five schools through On3’s Joe Tipton in March. After his season ended, he took official visits to only two of the schools, Washington State and UNLV.
Joe Tipton announced this morning that On3’s No. 55 ranked player in the 2022 class will be announcing his commitment. On3’s RPM gives the Cougars a 96.5-percent chance of landing the 6-foot-11 center. UNLV carries a 2.8-percent chance.
RPM was released to the public in December. The On3 engineering group teamed up with Spiny.ai to create the industry’s first algorithm and machine and machine learning-based product to predict where athletes will attend college. It factors machine learning, expert predictions, social sentiment, visits, and historical trends. However, expert predictions are still a big piece of the RPM equation.
Driving these percentages was my expert prediction for Washington State. Also, Adrame Diongue’s official visit to Washington State.

Diongue on Washington State
“We often talk on the phone and text back and forth with the staff. I love the fit for me there. They use their bigs and want them to rim run and post up. They want their bigs to play the way I play.”
Diongue’s take
“I want to go somewhere they can develop me as a player. I have only played basketball for three years, so development is huge for me. I’ll look at how they use their bigs and the style they play too.
“I run the floor well, grab rebounds and block everything. I’m reading the game better now and showing more on offense. I watch Kevin Garnett, the way he tries to dunk the ball every time he touches it; I’m trying to do that. I grew up playing soccer. Soccer helped me with being able to get up and down the floor and with my quickness and defense.”
On3 Scouting report
There is something about a player who continues to improve each time they step on the floor. Adrame Diongue is like a blank canvas right now, and all the tools are available. Diongue has good size and length; he is extremely mobile, with excellent timing. The 7-footer has touch from the free-throw line and is developing a face-up game. He will need to continue getting stronger and working on his offensive repertoire. Still, the strides he continues to make in only three years are very promising with a significant upside.
