Tampa Bay Tech (Fla.) four-star interior offensive lineman Canon Pickett has his recruitment narrowed down to 10 teams.

He told On3’s Hayes Fawcett on Monday afternoon that he’s now considering Alabama, Auburn, Clemson, Florida, Florida State, Georgia, LSU, Miami, Oklahoma and Vanderbilt.

Pickett is the No. 352 overall prospect and No. 33 IOL in the 2026 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He’s also the No. 56 player in Florida.

On3 ranks the 6-foot-4, 280-pounder higher than other recruiting services, however. He ranks No. 229 overall, No. 18 at the IOL position and No. 30 in the Sunshine State, per the 2026 On300.

Pickett is currently trending heavily to Miami, according to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine. Three insiders have logged picks in favor of the Hurricanes keeping Pickett in-state over the Gators, Seminoles and others.

He is a Miami legacy, as his father, Booker Pickett Sr., played for the Canes in the mid 1990s. Canon’s brother, Booker Jr., signed with The U in the 2024 cycle.

“Miami is always going to be a top school for me,” Pickett previously told On3’s Chad Simmons. “I recently saw both coach Mario Cristobal and coach Alex Mirabal coaching. I saw that coach Cristobal was working with the o-line, even though he’s the head coach. That stuck out to me.”

As a junior, Pickett was a part of a Tampa Bay Tech team that won nine games and finished as the No. 22 team in the state of Florida, according to the On3 Composite Rankings. Pickett is set to be the top returning prospect on the Titans’ 2025 roster.
