On300 S Kylin Jackson sets commitment date, names four finalists

A decision is nearing for one of the nation’s top defensive backs in the 2023 cycle.
On300 safety Kylin Jackson is down to four finalists: LSU, Oregon, Texas A&M and Michigan. The state championship-winning defender from Zachary (La.) High School will reveal his commitment on August 8.
Jackson is the country’s No. 11-ranked safety on the On3 Consensus. He was originally aiming to have a decision in place early during his senior season. However, the four-star recently moved up his timeline and is eyeing early next month to go public with his next move.

Jackson has made a string of visits to SEC schools throughout the spring and summer, namely frequenting Baton Rouge and College Station. The Tigers and Aggies have been recruiting the four-star from The Boot since he was an underclassman. Oregon and Michigan are both being considered for official visits along with Texas A&M and LSU. The in-state Tigers are leading the way on the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine.
Jackson is tabbed as the No. 157 overall player in the country regardless of position on the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
