On300 Safety Joenel Aguero Narrows List to 10
Four-star safety Joenel Aguero of Bradenton, FL has narrowed his list to ten schools— Boston College, Clemson, Alabama, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Florida, Michigan, Penn State, Georgia, and Miami.
The 2023 safety narrowed his list out of his 40 offers.
“I picked these schools because these are the schools that have been recruiting me the hardest,” Aguero said. “I feel like I can come into any of these programs and make a big impact.”

Scouting Joenel Aguero
“Joenel Aguero is one of the more athletic defensive backs in the 2023 cycle,” Charles Power said. “He’s a twitchy, hyper-physical safety who we’ve seen deliver a number of big hits so far this season. Aguero closes quickly and throws his body around. He backs up the athleticism in the combine setting, where he was among the more athletic players on IMG Academy’s loaded roster. We didn’t get to see him play as a sophomore due to COVID-19 cancellations in Massachusetts, so it’s good to see him back on the field this fall at IMG.”
Joenel Aguero, who is ranked as the No. 26 player in the On300 2023 rankings, is currently committed to play in the 2023 Under Armour All-American Game.
