Denton (Texas) Ryan running back Kalib Hicks is down to nine schools, he announced on Wednesday afternoon.

Among his top schools are: Alabama, Arkansas, Baylor, Colorado, Louisville, Miami, Ole Miss, South Carolina and TCU.

Hicks is the No. 368 prospect in the 2023 class, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.

The Industry Comparison Tool shows On3 is higher on Hicks than the rest of the industry, tabbing him as the nation’s No. 154 player, No. 6 running back and No. 27 prospect in Texas in the 2023 class.

The Crimson Tide are on the most recent schools to offer Hicks, and they hosted him on March 5 for their junior day festivities. He also tripped to both TCU and Texas in January, but the Longhorns have yet to extend an offer and didn’t make his list.

As a junior last season, Kalib Hicks totaled 1,448 rushing yards and and 18 touchdowns on 216 carries.
