Miami recently hosted one of the nation’s top running backs in the 2026 class, Raycine Guillory, for their thrilling win against Virginia Tech. Guillory made the trip to see the Hurricanes for the first time and came away impressed with the weekend.

“It was my first time, it was great,” Guillory said. “Great experience to go down there. I had fun out there.”

With the Miami game on Friday night, Guillory admitted he was looking forward to Aledo‘s upcoming game against Denton Ryan, one the Bearcats won 42-27 on Friday night — an outcome the Massey Ratings predicted. Getting Aledo’s third consecutive state championship is currently at the top of the running back’s mind.

“Right now, I’m worried about recruiting but I’m going to worry about where I’m at right now,” Guillory said. “I got my list but that’s going to come when it comes. I’m going to worry about winning, getting to the state championship.”

Even so, there are a few visits Guillory still plans on taking in the coming weeks. He will be in Ann Arbor on Oct. 26 for the Michigan State game, getting a first look at Michigan and Sherrone Moore‘s program. Guillory also mentioned heading to Athens to see Georgia sometime in November.

One program Guillory has not visited recently is Texas, the school he was once committed to. His relationship with the Longhorns and running backs coach Tashard Choice is still a strong one, admitting he needs to get back on the 40 Acres.

“The same before I decommitted,” Guillory said on his connection with Choice. “We still locked in, still my dog. I’m just exploring my options right now. I got a lot of time to see what I want to do, where I want to be, how my family feels about things. It’s a process.”

Guillory plays high school football at Aledo (TX) High School, where he is a four-star prospect. He was the No. 200 overall recruit in the 2026 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.

On3 is higher on Guillory than the rest of the industry, ranking him as the No. 95 overall player in the 2026 On300 and No. 13 running back.
