The “One Shining Moment’ video was released following the conclusion of the 2024 NCAA Tournament Monday night and it was a doozy as usual.

UConn defeated Purdue 75-60 to claim the national championship. It was another dominant display and in the moment, you could send it was coming despite a close first half.

You can watch the tournament live on Prime Video, add on your favorite channels and watch at home or on your phone and laptop at work!

Below is the “One Shining Moment” video in its entirety as we wave goodbye to the college basketball season and wait until the fall later this year.

Who could forget some first round upsets such as James Madison over Wisconsin and Oakland over Kentucky? Heck, the latter could’ve started something regarding John Calipari’s departure!

NC State, an 11-seed, played No. 14 Oakland in that second round and it was part of a magical run that included upsets of Marquette and Duke to get to the Final Four.

However, the Wolfpack’s shining moment ended at the hands of Purdue. On the flip side, there was a lot of chalk, but some surprises of course.

Clemson knocked off Baylor in the second round and then No. 2 Arizona. The Tigers played Alabama in the Elite Eight and suddenly fans were transported back to football season a few years ago.

In the end, Alabama made its first Final Four in school history. What a job by Nate Oats to earn that moment right? Alabama is definitely a basketball school!

We kid, it’s both football and basketball at this point.

But in the end, the shining moment belong to UConn as the Huskies won their second straight national title. The Huskies became the first repeat champions since the 2006 and ’07 Florida Gators.

Head coach Dan Hurley made it know UConn was the top dog of the sport. They proved it all season long.

“The message was, we’re the best team in the country,” Hurley said to Ernie Johnson will on the podium. “Purdue is clearly the second-best team in the country. Play to our identity, be who we’ve been all year, and we’ll be champions.”

Championship No. 6 means only two other schools have more national championships than UConn. UCLA (11) and Kentucky (8) are ahead while North Carolina is tied with the Huskies. Winning on Monday night meant they surpassed Duke and Indiana.
