Fresh off of a Big Ten championship in the Ducks’ first season in the conference, Oregon is off to a hot start in the 2026 recruiting cycle. With nine commitments — seven of which are blue-chip prospects — Oregon ranks No. 1 in the On3 Industry Team Recruiting Rankings through mid-February.

The ball got rolling for Dan Lanning & Co. well over a year ago with the addition of Scottsdale (Ariz.) Willamette four-star defensive lineman Tony Cumberland. Cumberland committed to the Green and Yellow on Sept. 23, 2023 and has remained with the Ducks ever since. He is the nation’s No. 51 overall prospect in the 2026 cycle according to the On3 Industry Ranking — a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.

Kendre Harrison is the best tight end in the country and committed to Oregon back in November. A five-star recruit, Harrison ranks No. 15 overall in the class.

“Oregon is the total package,” Harrison told On3. “I chose Oregon because of their player development, the coaching I will get there, the culture and the place. I like Eugene a lot.”

Two more players are just on the cusp of five-star status: Santa Ana (Calif.) Mater Dei offensive tackle Kodi Greene ranked No. 24 nationally and No. 4 among OTs, while Texan Tradarian Ball is the fourth-ranked running back in the country at No. 38 overall in the 2026 class.

They committed a month apart this past summer, with Ball joining the class in late July and Greene committing to the Ducks on Aug. 12.

Additional blue-chip pledges include defensive linemen Bott Mulitalo and Tomuhini Topui, and linebacker Tristan Phillips.

Kendre Harrison is the top-ranked offensive player in this Oregon class. Tony Cumberland leads the way for the defense. Two current commits come from the state of Oregon: Willamette teammates Cumberland and Viliami Moala (DL).
