Oregon is expected to UTSA co-OC Will Stein as its new offensive coordinator, sources tell On3.
In his first year as the Roadrunners’ offensive play-caller, Stein has helped UTSA go 11-2 and become Conference USA champs while guiding a unit that’s ranked ninth nationally in total offense.
Prior to being promoted to co-OC and quarterbacks in coach in January, Stein spent two years as the Roadrunners’ wide receivers coach and pass game coordinator.
Before UTSA, Stein was offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach at Texas high school power Lake Travis (2018-19) as well as a quality control coach at Texas (2015-17).

Stein, a former Louisville QB, got his start in coaching as a graduate assistant with the Cardinals in 2013.
At Oregon, he’ll be the replacement for Kenny Dillingham, who recently left the Ducks to become the new head coach at Arizona State.
Under Dillingham, Oregon ranked fourth nationally in total offense this year.
