Oregon reveals uniform for season opener vs. Idaho
Oregon has revealed its uniform combination for the season opener against Idaho on Saturday.
The Ducks will be wearing all green uniforms featuring yellow numbers, helmet decals and facemasks. The Nike logo and new Big Ten patch are donned in silver on both sides of the front of the chest while the Oregon ‘O’ is made to look the same on the pants while the iconic Duck logo is prominately displayed on the shoulder.
Offensive lineman Marcus Harper II is shown below suited up like he’s ready to take the first snap of the season:

Many have high hopes that Gabriel, a highly-touted transfer and plug-and-play potential Heisman contender, will lead to Ducks to similar consistency and offensive success in 2024 that they enjoyed under NFL rookie and Denver Broncos starting quarterback Bo Nix during head coach Dan Lanning’s first two seasons with the program.
Previously, Gabriel played two seasons with the Oklahoma Sooners after transferring from UCF following the 2021 season, and he made an undeniable impact on the program. Through his five whole seasons at the college level, Gabriel has thrown for more than 14,000 yards while completing better than 63 percent of his passes.

At OU, Gabriel played in 12 games during the 2023 season, completing just over 69% of his passes. He threw for 3,660 yards, 20 touchdowns, and just six interceptions. Lanning will have another mobile quarterback on his hands as well, with Gabriel adding 373 rushing yards and 12 touchdowns to the stat sheet as well. All of which are career highs.
Something that Nix enjoyed during his time at Oregon was strong offensive line play. He was sacked a total of nine times while spending two-years with the program.
There are some concerns up front for the Ducks to begin the season, as Lanning has been forced to move some pieces around due to injuries throughout fall camp. Still, those in place will look to protect Gabriel all the same as Oregon begins its venture into the Big Ten Conference.
Kickoff between the Ducks and Vandals is set for Saturday, Aug. 31 at 7:30 p.m. ET and will air live on the Big Ten Network.
