For the second time this season, Oregon and Ohio State will square off in a high-stakes game. This time, it’s in the College Football Playoff quarterfinal at the Rose Bowl.
The Ducks enter the New Year’s Day affair as the last remaining undefeated team at 13-0. That includes a victory over the Buckeyes at Autzen Stadium in October in the final seconds, which was part of their path to a Big Ten championship. Ohio State, meanwhile, is coming off a huge first-round win over Tennessee at The Horseshoe to seal a spot in the quarterfinal.
Kickoff is set for 5 p.m. ET at the Rose Bowl. The winner of Wednesday’s game will advance to the Cotton Bowl the College Football Playoff semifinals.
