Oregon vs. Oregon State: Offensive player projections for Week 3
One of the West Coast’s biggest rivalries returns Saturday. Oregon and Oregon State will square off in the game formerly known as the “Civil War,” and the offensive player projections have been set, according to PrizePicks.
Both teams bring 2-0 records into the contest, but they took different directions to get there. Oregon State defeated Idaho State 38-15 in the season opener before knocking off San Diego State 21-0. On the other side, Oregon fought off Idaho 24-14 before needing a last-second field goal to defeat Boise State.
The Ducks did plenty of work on the recruiting trail this year, with Dillon Gabriel headlining the class. The former Oklahoma quarterback is now the starter in Eugene ahead of Dante Moore, and he remains a potential contender for the Heisman Trophy.
On the other side, Gevani McCoy leads a new-look Oregon State team and. Trent Bray is now in as head coach, and he’ll face his first big test in the rivalry matchup against Oregon.
