MESA, Ariz. — Season 2 of the Overtime OT7 circuit got underway in the desert on Saturday as some of the top 7-on-7 programs around the country featuring some of the best recruits in the 2024, 2025 and 2026 classes began competition.

This weekend’s slate features 24K, D1 5 Stars, Defcon Texas, Deuces, EPS Blaze, Florida Fire, Hunco Elite, Lo Pro, Midwest Boom, Pink Outlaws, Raw, SFE, SMSB, Team Elevate, Team Lillard, Trillion Boys, Tucson Turf and 940 Elite. It amounts to more than 65 total blue-chip recruits, more than 40 players inside the On300 for 2024.

On3 Director of Recruiting Chad Simmons and National Recruiting Analyst Sam Spiegelman were on hand for Day 1 of the OT7 West action. Here are the top performers headlined by On300 WR Cam Coleman.

On3 MVP: Cam Coleman

On300 WR Cam Coleman had been turning in an absolutely stellar offseason leading into this weekend’s competition, and the top-20 receiver from Phenix City (Ala.) Central took it to a new level on Saturday. Coleman unofficially led the first day in touchdowns as the 6-foot-3.5, 185-pounder and LSU-committed QB Colin Hurley were synced up from the jump.

Coleman dominated 50-50 balls and also worked in the middle of the field and showcased his long-striding speed after the catch. His hands, catch radius and ball skills above the rim make Coleman are all on display in Arizona.

2. TE Davon Mitchell

Davon Mitchell got into the end zone on day one six times for touchdowns. He added a two-point conversion as well. He is a big-bodied tight end that can move. He ran good routes, he used his body to shield defenders and he flashed consistent hands.

The elite tight end has a robust catch radius and made plays along the sidelines, working in the middle of the field and at his best inside the red zone.

3. WR Jeremiah Smith – Ohio State

Five-star Ohio State commit Jeremiah Smith has taken a business-like approach to these competitions and produced early and often for SFE. Smith showed off the strong hands working in traffic and on 50-50 balls, and was sure-handed on routes underneath. Smith is a massive target in the passing game and runs routes fluidly with a knack for separating.

4. WR Xavier Jordan

On300 WR Xavier Jordan was a technician working in the middle of the field on Saturday. Jordan came up with big grabs in traffic on several instances, including a game-winner early on in pool play. Jordan piled up five total touchdowns on the afternoon. He’s extremely sure-handed and a mismatch working out of the slot.

5. WR I’Marion Stewart

5. Bolingbrook (Ill.) WR I’marion Stewart was Midwest Boom’s big player during action on Sunday. The Illinois pass-catcher is explosive right out of his breaks and can get open in a flash. Stewart worked the middle of the field well and was dangerous when he found some space. Like Jordan, Stewart was one of the more explosive slot receivers.

6. WR Donovan Oglubode

6. Donovan Olugbode came out in the Georgia gloves and performed at a championship level. The big-bodied receiver entering his season year at IMG Academy was making catches in traffic, scoring touchdowns — five in total on Saturday — and also making eye-catching one-handed grabs look seamless. The 2025 wide receiver originally from Chicago is becoming a top performer week in and week out at these events.

7. QB Colin Hurley – LSU commit

Four-star Jacksonville (Fla.) Trinity QB Colin Hurley was on-point leading the 24K offense. The LSU commit from Florida had a noticeable chemistry with On3 MVP Coleman after the two lit up the Big Easy last weekend. Hurley was in a rhythm and accurate, and sound throughout the day. He also shined against the blitz with designed throws on the move that turned into splash plays.

8. WR Adrian Wilson

2025 Pflugerville (Texas) Weiss WR Adrian Wilson was a go-to playmaker for Deuces producing big plays vertically and also taking over in the red zone. The 6-foot-2, 185-pounder from Central Texas was efficient reeling in 50-50 balls and showcasing his vertical jump in the process. Wilson was also proficient making contested catches in traffic down by the end zone.

9. CB Justin Denson

Talented Providence (R.I.) La Salle athlete Justin Denson shined at cornerback during pool play coming up with multiple pass deflections as well as an interception. The 6-foot-1, 185-pounder can work at corner or safety, and was proficient in coverage along the perimeter and locked in by the red zone.

10. WR Kyan Berry-Johnson

Bolingbrook (Ill.) WR Kyan Berry-Johnson was one of the biggest sparkplugs on offense in the competition on Saturday. Berry-Johnson stretched the field with ease showcasing his impressive hands and grand catch radius.

Additional notes

+ On300 WR Terrance Moore came up with a handful of big plays and scores on limited targets. The Tampa (Fla.) Catholic receiver is a 6-foot-4 target and plays even bigger.

+ Demond Williams was consistent. Showed good arm strength and touch on day one. The Ole Miss commit continues to perform at a high level.

+ Mike Matthews can take over when he gets the opportunity. When it was crunch time, Matthews stepped up and made big plays.

+ Malaki Wright impressed on the back end in coverage and came away with one of the biggest interceptions on Saturday sealing a victory for 24K jumping in front of a pass.

+ Four-star 2025 Ohio State commit Jontae Gilbert worked at free safety and was seamless in coverage over the top. He had a few pass breakups patrolling the back end.

+ Four-star Frisco (Texas) Emerson QB Michael Hawkins was sharp, especially working with his big tight end Mitchell. Hawkins was accurate on the move and unleashed some pretty deep balls on Saturday.

+ Winston Watkins really worked the middle of the field well. He found open areas, sat down and provided his quarterback with a good spot to throw the ball. The Colorado commit flashed quickness to get up the field, too.

Donovan Woolen is a big presence with outstanding length at 6-foot-3 and a shade under 200 pounds. Working in the middle of the field, Woodlen nabbed a pick for 940Elite.

+ 2025 Plano (Texas) S Rohan Kazadi was sound in coverage and came away with a handful of pass breakups on top of a game-sealing interception early in pool play.
