Las Vegas — On3 is back in Sin City for the 21st annual Pangos All-American Camp, one of the must-see events of the summer. Some of the top high school talent in the country will be on display over the next couple of days here at Bishop Gorman High School.

The Pangos All-American Camp has served as a coming out party for many top past and current HS All-Americans, as well as a showcase for many more national sleepers.

Some of the many current and former NBA Pangos All-American Camp alumni are James Harden, Russell Westbrook, Brad Beal, John Wall, Andre Drummond, DeMar DeRozan, Kyle Lowry, Jrue Holiday and Zack LaVine.

On3’s Jamie Shaw and Joe Tipton were courtside in Las Vegas, taking in the action. Here are your top performers from Monday.

On3 MVP: PG Rob Wright

Rob Wright, a four-star Baylor commit, raised some eyebrows during his time in Las Vegas. The 6-1 point guard really knows how to get to his spots. He loves to get his teammates involved, and is also a good passer, but can also be creative in how he individually scores the ball. Has really good feel for the game and a very confident player. Looked like one of the best guards in the country during his time in Sin City.

Wright is the No. 38 overall player in the 2024 On3 Industry Rankings.

2. SG Cam Scott

Four-star Cam Scott made some difficult shots, especially from deep, while sporting his new Oregon long sleeve. He visited the Ducks over the weekend. Scrappy defensively and bouncy. He was really aggressive offensively, which is a nice switch off from his usual passive self. Has a smooth shooting stroke.

Scott is the No. 23 overall player in the 2024 On3 Industry Rankings.

3. SF Rakease Passmore

Four-star Rakease Passmore’s ability to knock down the catch and shoot three Sunday night was impressive. Believe he knocked down five of them. Defended on-ball really well and was really competitive. Rebounded well.

Passmore is the No. 50 overall player in the 2024 On3 Industry Rankings.

4. CG Mercy Miller

Four-star Houston commit Mercy Miller continues to make winning plays. Whether it’s finding his teammate with an extra pass, scoring the ball individually, or making a defensive stop. He seems to naturally find the ball and more importantly, make the right decision with it. Shot the three-ball particularly well.

Miller is the No. 53 overall player in the 2024 On3 Industry Rankings.

5. PG Labaron Philon

Four-star Labaron Philon has a knack for scoring the basketball, while doing it efficiently. Can get downhill and score at the rim or step out to three. I also like his ability to get his teammates involved, as he’s a skilled passer. Excudes confidence. Has a certain swagger about him.

Philon is the No. 37 overall player in the 2024 On3 Industry Rankings.

6. SG Larry Johnson

Three-star Larry Johnson can really get downhill and score the basketball. A good on-ball defender. Long arms. Freak athlete. Played really well here at Pangos, leading everyone in scoring with 26 points per game.

Johnson is the No. 160 overall player in the 2024 On3 Industry Rankings.

7. SF Nate Guerengomba

Three-star Nate Guerengomba had an impressive showing here at Pangos, really showcasing his scoring ability. Took the right shot, scoring efficiently. Shot 56% from the field and over 50% from three in three games. Really strong frame.

Guerengomba is the No. 212 overall player in the 2024 On3 Industry Rankings.

8. PG Tahaad Pettiford

Tahaad Pettiford’s ability to control the tempo of the offense stood out. He communicates with his teammates, his accountability when he makes an error, aggressive defensively, and can also get create it scoring the ball himself. Strong handle.

Pettiford is the No. 26 overall player in the 2024 On3 Industry Rankings.

9. C Flory Bidunga

Flory Bidunga did Flory Bidunga things — dunks, blocking shots, and rebounding. An absolute menace around the rim. Also showed some passing ability.

10. PF Ryan Jones

Hard to ignore the efficiency of four-star Ryan Jones. The 2024 prospect is a big bodied forward that has been terrific from beyond the three-point arch. Watched him make 7 threes on Monday.

Jones is the No. 66 overall player in the 2024 On3 Industry Rankings.

11. PG Boogie Fland

Five-star Boogie Fland really knows how to control an offense and the tempo. Can score the ball at will and was effective getting to his floater and jumper. An overall high quality player.

Additional notes

+ Thomas Sorber continues to impress. The Georgetown commit has really worked on his body, increasing his athleticism. Has a pro mindset. Even showed the ability to stretch the floor as he knocked down a corner three.

+ Jared Harris made some plays in transition, throwing down a pair of high rising dunks. Beautiful looking jump shot. Nice defensive instincts. Competitive spirit. A player to watch in 2024.

+ Godswill Eheriene kept find a way to impact the game around the rim, playing out of the dunker’s spot. Has really good hands. Strong body. Battled on the boards.

+ With Robert Miller, you see flashes of “elite”. At 6-9, he can step out and knock down the three or pin one on the back board. One to watch in 2024.

+ 6-11 Aiden Sherrell’s ability to stretch the floor was eye raising. He confidently knocked down a pair of threes. He can also post, face up, make a move towards the rim or take a jumper from mid range.

+ The outside wasn’t falling for Vyctorious Miller, but he did a really good job of getting to the basketball and especially finishing through contact. Really unselfish guard who enjoys getting his teammates involved.

+ Tounde Yessoufu is very intriguing. He’s a strong, chiseled 2025 prospect with excellent athleticism. Would love for him to polish the shot and handle.
