ESPN College GameDay provides some indelible moments for college football fans and this weekend might have provided one of the best, starring Nick Saban and Pat McAfee.

During a break in the action, the music got cranked up and Lil Jon‘s “Snap Your Fingers” came on.

Pat McAfee got into it and was seen dancing on the set. At the same time, Saban took on a very serious look and seemed to uncomfortably glance at McAfee briefly, perhaps with even a bit of a scowl. The clip made it onto the Internet, where it began to spread like wildfire.

The outspoken host of College GameDay, McAfee, took to Twitter on Sunday night to address the “controversy.”

“So was Coach Saban side eyeing me out there??” Pat McAfee wrote, with two laughing emojis. “I was vibin during the commercial break… minding my business.. going thru some notes.. livin. They’re saying Coach wants to quit because of it (laughing emojis).”

The post immediately gained even more traction, but it really is the video that sells the whole thing.

Regardless, it’s clear that both enjoy being on the set with each other and the contrast in personalities has been perfect for fans so far this season. It’s made for a fun, enjoyable watch each Saturday morning.

ESPN College GameDay going to Ann Arbor

Pat McAfee and College GameDay will head to the biggest game of Week 2 when the ESPN pregame show makes a stop in Ann Arbor for Michigan vs. Texas.

The defending national champs host last year’s Big 12 champs and College Football Playoff participants. Of course, Texas is now an SEC opponent coming to the north.

It’ll be a new era for Michigan football under new head coach Sherrone Moore. Michigan AD Warde Manuel became convinced that Moore was ready to be a head coach following last year’s Penn State game.

“You know, you don’t often get an opportunity to watch somebody perform in a role, and because of the circumstances, I had the opportunity to watch him on the sidelines as the acting head coach for four games,” Warde Manuel recently told The Michigan Insider. “And I was impressed with what and how he managed and handled the team, handled the challenges that were thrust upon him, particularly in the Penn State game.”
