Pat McAfee, Peyton Manning to partner for college football-style 'Manningcast'
If college football fans liked the “Manningcast” for NFL games last season, they’re in for a treat this year. Pat McAfee is going to be leading an alternate broadcast for six games on ESPN2.
McAfee and Peyton Manning’s company, Omaha Productions, will partner to make the broadcast happen throughout the college football season. The former West Virginia and Indianapolis Colts punter made the news official during an episode of his show on Thursday.
“Peyton Manning and I are getting into business together,” McAfee said on The Pat McAfee Show. “We have officially agreed, alongside Omaha Productions, to simulcast six big-ass college football games this season. We will be on ESPN2. The main cast will be on ESPN. Omaha is obviously helping us along the way and we will be running it. Peyton, you are the f—ing man. Thank you for the opportunity, thank you for the business.”
Manning and McAfee were teammates in Indianapolis and will be reuniting once again with the partnership. He made note of that during his appearance on McAfee’s show as he expressed his excitement for the new broadcast.

“Can’t thank you enough, man,” Manning said. “Looking forward to it. You’re the best. Honored to be your teammate again, if you will. You will kill this. You know this. Everybody’s fired up to watch, I can guarantee it.”
McAfee has seen his star rise as a media star over the last few years. After his retirement from the NFL, he joined Barstool Sports before landing with FanDuel and, recently, signed a monster extension with the sports betting company to keep the show rolling.
At one point, he was in talks to contribute to Amazon’s Thursday Night Football broadcasts, according to a report in April. He also is making a name for himself in the WWE world and signed an extension to continue his role there, as well.
