As teams around the country prepare for consequential Week 9 games, ESPN analysts Paul Finebaum and Heather Dinich joined Get Up to discuss their picks for the College Football Playoff.

Week 9 outcomes could dramatically shake up the CFP picture. The schedule features top-25 battles between No. 2 Ohio State and No. 13 Penn State, No. 3 Tennessee and No. 19 Kentucky, and No. 9 Oklahoma State versus No. 22 Kansas State. Saturday is also a miniature rivalry day with No. 1 Georgia facing Florida and No. 4 Michigan taking on Michigan State.

Here are Finebaum and Dinich’s picks for the CFP’s initial top four ahead of the committee’s first rankings reveal next week.

Heather Dinich reveals College Football Playoff picks after Week 8

1. Ohio State Buckeyes

2. Georgia Bulldogs

3. Tennessee Volunteers

4. Oregon Ducks

“Mine are probably different than the selection committee but at No. 1 I have Ohio State, I’m glad Paul has finally copied off my paper and joined the club,” Dinich said on Wednesday. “At No. 2, I have Georgia, No. 3 Tennessee and No. 4 Quack, I’ve got the Ducks. The reason I have Oregon there is because, Paul nailed it, Penn State? Paper lion. I love that description of it. I don’t think Michigan’s win against Penn State is that great, I think Oregon’s win against UCLA is better. They’ve won six straight since losing to Georgia.”

Paul Finebaum’s Top 4

1. Ohio State Buckeyes

2. Georgia Bulldogs

3. Tennessee Volunteers

4. Michigan Wolverines

“I would be sitting next to Heather in 11th grade, copying off her paper, because she would be far smarter than I am,” Finebaum joked. “I agree with everything she said except the quackers. Last I checked, Oregon lost to Georgia by 46 points. If the committee wants to have enough bravery to overcome all that, I’m going with Michigan even though it’s probably going to kill me in the end.”
