Peach Jam: Day 3 Top Performers
North Augusta, South Carolina – Many of the nation’s top high school basketball players came together in South Carolina to compete for Nike’s Peach Jam title. On3 was courtside with other pre-approved media and NBA Scouts to watch the talent.
Let’s discuss the top performers that I saw from day three of Peach Jam.
On3 MVP: Five-star SF Cooper Flagg (2025)
It was the showdown of the event, the matchup that the EYBL Circuit was promoting; 2025 On3 150 No. 1 ranked Cooper Flagg went head-to-head against No. 2 ranked Cameron Boozer. Flagg and his Maine United 16s team came out on top with a 73-65 wing.
Flagg is a 6-foot-8 wing. His defensive presence is special; in my opinion, he is the best defensive player in high school basketball. He is able to dictate the pace of the game on that end with his shot-blocking prowess, as well as his anticipation and ability to guard on the ball or in the passing lanes. Offensively, Flagg had most of the defense gearing in on him. They did an excellent job moving the ball around, while most of the offense was initiated by Flagg. He is very comfortable in the mid-range, especially going left. He is also a great passer, getting the ball away from the double team and throwing to multiple levels off a live dribble.
Flagg was on triple-double watch in the win, finishing with 21 points, 10 rebounds, 7 assists, 2 steals, and 2 blocks.
2. Four-star SG Mikey Lewis
Some people are wired to score the basketball, and Mikey Lewis is one of those people. The 6-foot-1 guard has a great feel for where he is at on the court and the shot necessary to get a bucket.
Lewis has a smooth three-point shot that he takes with good balance and a high, consistent release. He plays off that jump shot to get into the paint, where he has a good feel with various pull-ups and floaters. He will need to continue adding weight, but the feel to get to his spots is there. Lewis went for 40 on Tuesday night and followed that up with 30 on Wednesday.
3. SF AJ Dybantsa (2026)
Smooth would be a good word to use to describe AJ Dybantsa. The 6-foot-8 class of 2026 small forward is capable of getting his shot at any point in the possession. He has great length with a natural explosive burst. The handle is efficient within two or three dribbles, and he is playing with better balance, which is enabling him to rise up vertically to get his shot off in the half-court.
Simply put, Dybantsa has ‘it’. He wants the ball in the big moments, and he has the confidence – and the skill – to get his offense going. At times he it is hard to remember he is playing up two age groups as a 2026 in the 17u age group.
He finished with 25 points and 8 rebounds, going 10-for-19 from the field.
4. Four-star C Thomas Sorber (Georgetown)
Thomas Sorber is a strong presence in the paint, but what makes him so successful is he is more nimble than you expect. He has good feet on the block, with soft hands and touch going over both shoulders.
Sorber sets up a wide base when establishing position; he sits low and gives a big target. With the ball, Sorber is an excellent passer, going away from the double team, finding open teammates. If left with single coverage, he is patient on the block with a couple of go-to moves he is confident in with some counters to play off those moves. Sorber is a tough cover as a five, capable of making plaus consistently.
Sorber is the No. 27 player in the 2024 On3 150. The 6-foot-10 Georgetown commitment finishd with 17 points and 11 rebounds in the win to move to 3-0 in Peach Jam.
5. Four-star PG Rob Wright (Baylor)
Rob Wright has a crafty handle, and the danger he causes for the opposing team is that he consistently touches the paint. The 6-foot-0 guard lived in the teeth of the defense today, consistently making good reads aand delievering timely passes. He plays wtih excellent balance and a good base, with his head always up on the ball.
Wright has shot the ball very well throughout the week going 3-for-5 from three in this one. He also had 5 assists to his 17 points.
6. Four-star PF Morez Johnson (Illinois)
Morez Johnson is a workhorse, someone who clocks in every day and brings his lunch pale with him. The 6-foot-8 power forward for Meanstreets had another huge double-double, his third one in three Peach Jam games.
Johnson is a strong forward prosepct who does his work within 10-feet of the basket. He is a relentless rebounder, doing his work early and then chasing the ball in and out of his area. The Illinois commit had 26 points going 9-for-15 from the field. he also added 19 rebounds in the win. meanstreets is no 3-0.
7. Four-star PG Trent Perry
Trent Perry is someone you trust with the ball in his hands, and there is a lot to be said about that. You can put the ball in his hands during crunch time.
The 6-foot-3 point guard has a strong frame. While he is not the most explosive player, he plays with an excellent pace, which gets him to his spots. He makes good decisions, gets his team into sets, and does not make unnecessary turnovers. Then there is the shooting aspect. Perry is a good shooter off the bounce and the catch. He has good balance, which he gets to off movement or off the catch, and he has a soft release.
Perry is the No. 39 player in the 2024 On3 150. He finished with 15 points, 4 rebounds, and 3 assists. He was 2-for-3 from the three-point line.
Other standouts
Five-star PF Cameron Boozer (Nightrydas 16s) is a steady player. He is able to handle in the open floor and shoot and is one of the best outlet passers in high school basketball. With lengthy arms and a strong frame, he does a great job carving out his space and rebounding his area. He had 22 points and 12 rebounds on 8-for-24 from the field.

Four-star SF Drake Powell (UNC) plays an easy game, always within himself and so productive t. He has shot the ball well this weekend, getting going with the two dribble pull ups at the elbows and knocking down down spot threes off the catch. The defense has always been there and he has moved the ball well. He finished with 20 points, going 4-for-7 from three.
Four-star SG Trey McKenney (The Family 17s) is a big guard. He has a feel to score the ball, at each level, and in an efficient manner. The 6-foot-3 McKenney finished with one with 19 points and 8 rebounds.
Four-star SF Rakease Passmore (Team Thad) game has expanded, finding comfort in playing within two dribbles and knocking down shots. He is taking his jump shot confidently while still using his explosive athleticism. He finished with 21 points on 8-for-13 from the field.
Five-star SG Meleek Thomas (New Heights Lightning 17s) is a fiery competition and a shot maker. He is a quick-twitch guard who can create space and has a confident jump shot. He finished with 23 points, going 9-for-18 from the field.
Four-star PG Styles Phipps (Oakland Soldiers) is a steady point guard that you can trust to take care of the ball and make shots when necessary. He finished with 14 points and 8 assists in the win.
Four-star SF Isaiah Evans (Duke) is a shot-maker, and that is what his game is dependent upon. The 6-foot-7 wing was able to get things going early with 15 first-quarter points. Things slowed a little for him as he finished with 20, going 3-for-4 from three.
Four-star Darius Acuff (The Family) is a scoring guard, and he finished with 20 points in this one, but it was the 8 assists he got that were intriguing. The scoring was still inefficient, going 2-fo-8 from three, but th passing was on time.
Three-star SF AJ Swinton (Boo Williams) has played with authority this weekend. He is aggressively attacking the basket and explosively getting above the rim. It has been noticable.
Four-star SG Jahseem Felton (Georgia Stars) was aggressive. He got downhill in straight lines to the rim and absorbed contact. He also knocked down jump shots, looking especially comfortable with the mid-range pull-ups.
Four-star PG Labaron Philon (Team Thad) is a steadying presence at the point guard spot. A player you can give the ball to in tight spots and know he will not turn the ball over and will make good decisions.
Four-star SG Dante Allen (Nightrydas 16s) is a guy who makes positive plays. You can count on the production from him on both ends of the floor. He was able to get out in transition to finish with 17 points in this one.
Three-star SF Ace Flagg (Maine United 16s) was the x-factor in Maine United’s win today over Nighrydas. The 6-foo-t7 wing made all the right plays, finishing around the basket and keeping the ball alive on the offensive glass. Flagg had 22 and 11, each stat bigger than the last.
Four-star PF Donnie Freeman (Syracuse) is just scratching the surface of what he could be. He has great lengths and moves fluidly. In this one, he showed the ability to score in multiple ways. He has great touch and confidence to finish at multiple levels facing the basket.
