According to the report from the Centre Daily Times, Amin Vanover was stopped in early August for an expired tag when an officer smelled marijuana coming from the vehicle. Officers noted a ‘sleepy’ appearance and bloodshot eyes.

Vanover then told the police he did not own a medical marijuana card, and he subsequently failed field sobriety tests. His blood was later drawn and analysis showed a 95% certainty level for marijuana.
