Penn State transfer QB Beau Pribula commits to Missouri

Penn State transfer quarterback Beau Pribula has committed to Missouri, On3 has learned. Sources tell On3 that Pribula chose the Tigers over Iowa.

Pribula wrapped up his trip to Ole Miss on Saturday morning before traveling home to York, Pennsylvania, for the holidays and thinking over where he would play in 2025. The quarterback called off his trip to Indiana, which was scheduled for Saturday following the Ole Miss trip. Pribula took visits to Missouri, Iowa, UCF and Ole Miss.

The Penn State transfer could see immediate playing time with Missouri. The Tigers are set to lose Brady Cook, who is 25−13 as a starter and helped them win a Cotton Bowl in 2023. Backup Drew Pyne still has two years of eligibility remaining, but he’s struggled throwing for three touchdowns and three interceptions in six games this season.

Pribula played in 24 career games during his time with Penn State, mainly backing up Drew Allar. The redshirt sophomore will have two years of eligibility remaining. He’s thrown for 424 career yards with nine touchdowns and just one interception. Penn State relied on Pribula for his legs, too, rushing for 571 yards and 10 touchdowns in his career with the Nittany Lions.

With Allar sidelined due to injury in the second half against Wisconsin this season, Pribula guided Penn State to a 28-13 win. He was 11 of 13 for 98 yards in the game, throwing for a touchdown.
