Penn State transfer quarterback Beau Pribula is expected to visit Ole Miss and Indiana, On3’s Pete Nakos reported. He is currently taking a visit to UCF.

Pribula is set to head to Oxford on Saturday before making the trip to Bloomington following IU’s College Football Playoff matchup against Notre Dame. Iowa and Missouri have also expressed interest in Pribula as he schedules his transfer portal visits.

Pribula officially entered the portal Dec. 16 after announcing his plans to do so a day earlier. His decision was a surprising one since Penn State is gearing up to host a CFP game, but he cited the college football calendar as a reason he had to leave the team in an “impossible decision.”

“Growing up in Pennsylvania, it has always been a dream of mine to play football for Penn State,” Pribula wrote. “Wearing the blue & white these last 3 years has brought me some of the greatest moments or my life. The current NCAA post-season model creates a challenge for student-athletes. The overlapping CFB playoff & transfer portal timeline has forced me into an impossible decision.

“After speaking at length with my family and coaches, it is with a heavy heart that l announce my intentions to enter the transfer portal and depart from the team to explore opportunities elsewhere. I want to thank the coaches, my teammates, the fanbase, and everyone else who has supported me along this journey. For the rest of my life, I stand proud as a Penn State graduate and letterman.”

After officially hitting the open market this week, Beau Pribula became one of the most interesting transfer recruits. He checks in as the No. 150 overall player and No. 16-ranked quarterback to enter the portal this cycle, according to the On3 Industry Transfer Rankings.

Pribula appeared in every game for Penn State this season with a package of plays to throw a different look at opposing defenses. He largely made plays with his legs, rushing for 230 yards and four touchdowns during the regular season. He also added 275 passing yards and five touchdowns through 12 games ahead of the Big Ten Championship.
