Alabama 2024 4-star WR commit Perry Thompson visiting Auburn
Foley (Ala.) four-star 2024 wide receiver commit Perry Thompson has been committed to Alabama since June. But this weekend, after being offered earlier this week, he’ll be on campus at Auburn for his first unofficial visit with the Tigers’ new coaching staff, he tells On3.
“I’m ready to see the new facilities and view the campus at Auburn this weekend,” Thompson told On3. “I also want to build bonds with the coaching staff. It feels like it is going to be fun up there.”
Thompson is the No. 57 overall prospect in the 2024 On300 rankings, checking in as the country’s No. 10 junior wide receiver and the No. 2 player in the state of Alabama.
He chose the Crimson Tide this summer over offers from Southern Miss, Troy and a handful of others before his recruitment started to heat up. Since then, both Tennessee and Auburn have extended offers to him and are looking to get him on campus in hopes of flipping him.
