4-star IOL Peyton Joseph flips commitment from Florida State to Georgia Tech

Fort Valley (Ga.) Houston County four-star interior offensive lineman Peyton Joseph has decommitted from Florida State and flipped his pledge to Georgia Tech, according to On3’s Hayes Fawcett.
He was previously committed to the Seminoles since July 4 but is now the latest to back off his commitment to Mike Norvell and Co., and he joins a Yellow Jackets class that ranks among the top 25 nationally.
Joseph remained committed FSU during the fall despite the ACC program’s struggles on the field. In early November, though, Norvell made multiple changes to his staff, including letting go offensive coordinator and OL coach Alex Atkins.
Soon after, Joseph visited the home state program in Atlanta, which has made keeping Peach State prospects at home a huge priority.
The 6-foot-3, 280-pounder is the No. 242 overall prospect and No. 16 IOL in the 2025 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He’s also the No. 33 player in Georgia.

Brent Key and the Yellow Jackets are on pace to sign their best recruiting class in recent memory next week. The pledge list ranks No. 19 in the nation with National Signing Day just four days away, according to the On3 Industry Team Recruiting Rankings.
Cedartown (Ga.) four-star safety Tae Harris flipped from Clemson on Nov. 23 and is the nation’s No. 53 recruit and No. 3 safety this cycle. He now sits atop the class alongside Roswell (Ga.) Later in the summer, Bogart (Ga.) Prince Avenue Christian four-star defensive lineman Christian Garrett committed. Duluth (Ga.) four-star offensive tackle Damola Ajidahun also committed in August and is a top-20 player at his position. Rabun Gap (Ga.) Nacoochee School four-star IOL Justin Hasenhuetl has been in the class since April.
