The PFF College Football Top-25 reflects an upset-filled Week 5, which led to huge changes. While Alabama and Georgia continue to lead the way, the rest of their rankings has been shaken-up throughout.

First, Arkansas and Ole Miss were sent down a few rungs due to blowout losses to the SEC’s top teams. Additionally, Oregon fell like a rock due to their overtime loss to Stanford.

The Big Ten looks strong, with Ohio State, Michigan, Iowa and Penn State all on fire. Moreover, the Hawkeyes and Nittany Lions are on a collision course that can shape the remainder of the season.

As the college football season roars on, let’s take a look at PFF’s Top-25.

Biggest Risers

Michigan Wolverines (+7). One of the biggest surprises of the college football season has been the resurgence of Jim Harbaugh’s squad. Following a victory that was never in doubt over Wisconsin, PFF moved Michigan up seven spots. With their run game and defense, they could continue to climb higher.

Kentucky Wildcats (+7). After being overlooked continuously, Mark Stoops team got some respect from PFF. Moving up seven spots, perhaps Waka Flocka Flame will be in attendance for more victories in Lexington.

Ohio State Buckeyes (+5). Many wrote off Ohio State after their loss to Oregon. However, their offense has steadily found their groove ever since. They’re out to prove they’re the class of the Big Ten over the rest of the season.

Biggest Fallers

Florida Gators (-11). While Kentucky rocketed up the PFF College Football Top-25, Florida fell down it. Rightfully so, Dan Mullen was angered by his team’s performance. Now, the remainder of their season is bleak.

Notre Dame Fighting Irish (-8). After escaping defeat multiple times, Cincinnati finally made Notre Dame pay. Now, they’re falling down PFF’s rankings. The Fighting Irish were getting by using the skin of their teeth, and it caught up to them.

Oregon Ducks (-7). An overtime loss to Stanford doomed the Pac-12, as Oregon has effectively removed itself from the College Football Playoff. After a victory over Ohio State gained them hype, it all came crashing down. on Saturday.
